‘Black Farmers are capable Farmers give them capital and title deeds to the land and I will prove you wrong. Last year with 95% Black Farmers Zimbabwe produced bumper harvests, we can do more,’-MDC-T official Chalton Hwende

An MDC-T official Chalton Hwende has said despite condemnation of the land reform his view is that black farmers who were allocated land under the chaotic land reform programme are capable of producing for the nation.

“You can insult me but you will never move me from my belief that Black Farmers are capable Farmers give them capital and title deeds to the land and I will prove you wrong. Last year with 95% Black Farmers Zimbabwe produced a bumper harvests we can do more,” Hwende said.

“The historical land ownership patterns were wrong the correction was the correct thing to do. White farmers in line with their population must own less than 10% of the Land. No to the reversal of Land Reform by ED (Emmerson Mnangagwa).”

Samuel Hova said the economy is agro based leader Charlton. Years ago the nation was complaining that land should be utilized and he (Hwende) and others know that former occupiers utilized it well which led to the development of the beloved country.

“Let’s not just talk of land ownership without utilizing it. Those interested in farming let them do it not the way it was being parceled out just to buy votes. The move I support it because I want jobs to be created for the jobless people. Not everyone wants to run a business or to be a farmer. Jobs Jobs Jobs,” he said. Source – Byo24News
